PORSCHE 356B KARMANN COUPE

This is a stunning example of an ever sought after
Porsche that has a great history. An original
California
car, with only two owners from new, the first owning it
until early 2008. The second owner then had Angel Nardi
of Nardi Motors, renowned for his Porsche Restorations,
perform a superb restoration on the car. They in-fact,
new the car well, from servicing the car for the
original owner. During the restoration the car was
completely stripped of all components. All of the
instruments were rebuilt, the engine was disassembled
with anything replaced or rebuilt, that was required,
including piston rings, bearings, resurface the heads
and a valve job. The carburetors were also rebuilt, the
clutch replaced, new front and rear brake shoes, new
brake wheel cylinders and a new brake master cylinder
were fitted. Cosmetically the body was stripped to bare
metal and repainted, the interior was completely redone
with leather seats, and looking at the car and the
records, every seal, all the chrome and everything you
can imagine appears to have been replaced or redone. It
is simply beautiful. The second owner did replace the
original Black California license plate with a
personalized plate. The steering wheel is a beautiful
Nardi wheel and the radio has been replaced with a
modern inside old look outside version. We have the
Porsche Certificate of Authenticity which shows the car
as completing production on February 2nd 1963
and being delivered in Black/ 6213 with Black
leatherette/ B interior. This is the colour combination
retained, just having a leather upgrade to the interior,
a bonus!
