1988 MERCEDES BENZ 560SL Sold new by an authorized Mercedes Benz dealer, on March 11, 1988. These cars have really become desirable in recent times, they have beautiful and timeless styling and they do drive brilliantly so it is to be expected. This car has an indicated 151,000 miles which in Mercedes Benz life is nowhere near the end so get in and appreciate it, drive it and use it. This 560SL can use some minor cosmetic refurbishing if so desired otherwise it’s a bargain price that looks the part. We have the original owner’s manual, books and even the first aid kit. Even the correct Becker Grand Prix stereo is in the dash. When we put the Convertible top up it appeared as though it may have been one of its few times going up. The hard top has nice supple seals in very good condition. The doors, hood, fenders etc. all have original identification stickers indicating all original panels not replacement panels. Having spent the last few years in storage and in preparation for sale we fitted 4 new brake rotors, new brake pads, brake pad sensors, power steering hose, spark plugs, oil and filter change. Previous ownership had the following work done. A valve job, new valve stem seals, timing chain, tensioner, main rail, 3 upper rails, cam lubrication plastic, valve cover gaskets, water pump, thermostat, upper and lower radiator hoses, left and right heater hoses, injector cups, air conditioning compressor, receiver drier and heater valve. Finished in its original colour combination of Black with Parchment leather interior and Black Convertible top.
